Fashion vs Sport at The V&A

In an upcoming exhibition, the London based Victoria and Albert Museum will house 5 month exhibit highlighting the transcending of sportswear into the world of fashion. With numerous brands and companies seeking to provide the perfect balance of technical qualities and aesthetics, the showcase is a good reflection of the current landscape. The exhibition revolves around four key themes of Dare (integration of sport and fashion), Display (individuality through customization), Play (the overall social language) and Desire (where sportswear is no longer sportswear but fashion.
