Review: Fuel For Design – an eBook on “How to Start a Clothing Line”

Fuel For Design is the perfect guide for the budding entrepeneur who wants to get the indepth knowledge on how to start a Clothing Line.
Gino Orlandi, the founder of tshirt blog and clothing line, Color Overload contacted me the other day to point me in the direction of his eBook. I’ve spent the last 2 days reading the 128-page guide which is incredibly indepth and a real insight in to this lucrative business.
Gino has obviously put a huge amount of effort into producing this book and you can learn first hand from his experiences as he’s gone from the very beginning to where he is now.
The book starts from the very beginning, advising you on “writing down your goals”, where to start, and a complete guide to registering domains, sorting out a site and branding and who and where to host with where to buy the domain. Let’s just say that nothing’s been missed..
Fuel For Design then goes on to cover design, printing, product placement, and shipping. Then moving onto in depth sections about your website, optimising it for online and SEO tips – quite literally the list goes on and on.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the whole guide from front to back and can’t speak highly enough of the casual yet informative way it has been written. It’s not in-your-face, it’s just written by someone who has experienced everything first hand and is now passing on the knowledge for everyone else to use. Concise, sharp and very down to earth. Here’s what some others had to say:
“I’ve always dreamed of launching my own clothing line and I’m very pleased with what I found in this e-Book. It really made me feel much more confident about launching my line.” - Brad Ciszewski
“I’ve always wanted to sell t-shirts on my web design related sites and Fuel for Design gave me a ton of great information on how to sell my tees. Their online marketing section even helped me promote my main websites!” - Michael Castilla
So, without further a do, head over to the site to pick up a copy – It’s $37 WELL SPENT!

[...] Color Overload. If you can get over the excited(!) marketing speak on the website, I have it on good authority that it’s worth the $37, I’m sure I read other reviews saying it was good, [...]
